Rules & Regulations
Mahamrityunjay College of Nursing, Barwani
To maintain discipline, academic excellence, and a safe learning environment, all students are required to follow the rules and regulations of the college.
🔹 General Discipline
Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and good conduct inside and outside the campus.
Wearing the prescribed college uniform during class hours, clinical duty, and official functions is mandatory.
Students must carry their Identity Card at all times inside the campus.
Any form of ragging, misconduct, or misbehavior will lead to strict disciplinary action or dismissal as per INC & MPNRC rules.
The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during lectures, practicals, and hospital training.
Students are expected to respect faculty, staff, patients, and peers at all times.
🔹 Attendance & Academic Performance
Minimum 80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in practical/clinical training is compulsory.
Students with poor attendance will not be permitted to appear in final examinations.
All internal assessments, practical exams, and assignments must be completed on time.
Leave should be taken only with prior permission from the Principal / Class Coordinator.
🔹 Clinical Training Rules
Students must follow the dress code and ethics of nursing during clinical postings.
Clinical duties should be performed sincerely under the guidance of the ward in-charge or tutor.
Any negligence during duty hours will be dealt with seriously.
Students must maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
🔹 Hostel Rules (if applicable)
Hostel residents must follow the timings and instructions given by the warden.
Visitors are not allowed without prior permission.
Use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs is strictly prohibited inside hostel premises.
Lights and fans should be switched off when not in use to save electricity.
🔹 Fee & Other Policies
Admission, tuition, and hostel fees must be paid on or before the due date.
Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Students are responsible for maintaining college property. Damage to property will lead to a fine or disciplinary action.
🔹 Examination & Conduct
Students must appear in all internal and external examinations conducted by the college or university.
Unfair means during examinations will result in immediate disqualification.
Discipline must be strictly maintained during examinations.
🔹 Important Note
The college reserves the right to amend or modify any rule or regulation as and when required.
All students are expected to abide by the rules to ensure a smooth and professional learning environment.
