Why Nursing ?

Nursing is a dynamic field that offers career opportunities at many levels. After a diploma and degree course one can be a registered Nurse to practice either in clinical or in educational field. Some nurses earn multiple degrees in order to become highly specialized nurse practitioners. Nursing careers offer a wide variety of roles and a broad scope of responsibility. Nursing is one of the most exciting and in-demand jobs of today. Nurses work to promote health, prevent diseases and help patients’ cope with illness.

They are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities. When providing direct care to patients, they observe asses and record patient’s symptoms, reactions and e progress. Nurses collaborate with physicians in the performance of treatment and examinations, administration of medications and the provision of direct patient care in convalescence and rehabilitation.
